BIO
Brooklyn Summer
Fourteen-year-old Brooklyn Summer is a rising star, quickly making a name for herself in the music and film industries. Originally from Morgan Hill, California, and raised in Los Angeles before relocating to Nashville, this dynamic young talent has already begun to capture the attention of fans and industry professionals alike. With a powerhouse voice and an undeniable charisma, Brooklyn’s star is truly on the rise.
Known for her bold country-rock sound, Summer draws inspiration from artists, including Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Pistol Annies, Adele, Christina Aguilera, Lainey Wilson, and Kelly Clarkson. She blends elements from each of these influences and weaves them into her own unique sound and style, crafting songs that leave a lasting impact on listeners.
Since moving to Music City, Summer has performed at some of Nashville’s most iconic venues, including The Bluebird Café, The Listening Room Café, Printer’s Alley, and nearly every stage on Broadway including the world-famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. She has also collaborated with top-tier Nashville songwriters and producers, including Blue Foley (“God’s Will”/Ashley McBryde), Kirsti Manna (“Austin”/Blake Shelton), Lance Carpenter (“Love Me Like You Mean It”/Kelsea Ballerini), Michael Jay (“Toy Soldiers”/Martika, “Declaration of Love”/Celine Dion), Peter Newman (“Cowgirl”/Parmalee, “Georgia Girl”/Megan Moroney), Steve Dean (“Watching You”/Rodney Atkins, “Round About Way”/George Strait), Steve O’Brien (“Rock My World (Little Country Girl)”/Brooks & Dunn), Terri Jo Box (“Hillbilly Hippie”/Lainey Wilson, “Dear Old Sun”/Miranda Lambert), and Grammy-nominated songwriter Trick Savage, whose credits include music for ESPN, TBN, WGN, Levis, Sonic Drive-In, as well as cuts by artists like Eric Church, Ashley McBryde, and Trisha Yearwood.
But Summer isn’t just a singer-songwriter—she’s also an accomplished actress, voice-over artist, and print model. She has appeared in numerous films and is recognized by both the Los Angeles and Nashville communities for her talent and versatility. Beyond her professional endeavors, Summer is passionate about giving back to her community —- from volunteering her voice for hospice patients to performing at county fairs, she’s passionate about using her platform for good. Summer’s dedication and hard work have earned her multiple accolades, including being named Grand Champion in both the California State Talent Competition and the Greater Bay Area Talent Competition.
Summer’s acting career continues to soar. She recently began filming The Christmas Witch, where she landed the lead role as "Brigid," based on the Amberlight Valley Series by Dalea Faulkner. The film is co-produced by the mother/daughter team Dalea Faulkner and Martina Webster. She is also currently writing music for another feature film, Hold On, produced by Karee Von, and will also be a part of the production filming later this year.
On the music front, Summer continues to thrive. With over 100 songs cataloged with BMI, she dedicates her time to co-writing, recording, and refining her craft. Her latest single, “Cowboy Killer,” has already garnered over 80k streams and has been featured on Radio SoBro's NuMu Friday, Center Stage Magazine’s Fresh Indie Country playlist, and was named one of Pop Blitz Magazine’s New Music Friday picks. Previous singles like “Kickin’ It Country” (over 309k streams) and "Blues On The Blacktop" (nearing 231k streams) have also seen significant success, with new music set to release later this year.
Despite her busy career, Summer remains grounded and embraces the everyday joys of being a teenager. When she’s not performing or in the studio, she enjoys horseback riding, drawing, swing dancing, and playing Roblox.
Brooklyn Summer’s aspirations are as vast as her talents. With a focus on both a successful music career and a promising future in film, she dreams of blending these two passions seamlessly. Her ultimate goal is to sign with a record label that aligns with her vision, enabling her to utilize her music and platform to inspire, entertain, and give back to her community. “Music and acting are incredibly powerful mediums for storytelling,” she adds. “I want to create art that touches people—whether it’s a song that uplifts or a role that moves them.”
